ABOUT

Welcome! My name is Rebecca (Bex) Turner. I am a Designer/Illustrator originally working in London but now based in York. From a youth of creativity and a degree in Graphic Design and Illustration I have come to enjoy a 12+ year career as a Designer and Creative.

I have worked for a wide range of companies in varying industries, from new starters to well-established, international businesses, in-house and for agencies, eComms to tech, in London and outside the capital. I have experience in designing for print, corporate branding, websites, digital marketing, events stands/booths and everything in between. My skills include illustration, the Adobe Design suite, Figma and Sketch, some animation skills with After Effects, as well as front end devlopment with HTML and CSS. Working for a wide variety of brands, each with very different and unique identities, has given me a wealth of experience in not only being creative with generating new design ideas but also working effectively within existing brand guidelines.

Outside of work I love a nice cup of tea, exploring on my bike, getting out for a run, skiing whenever possible and generally enjoying being active. I am a fan of sci-fi and fantasy, and like to indulge my geeky side with games (board and video), history and culture.
